Explain the format and structure of scientific journal articles: Participants will learn the correct format and structure for scientific papers/journal articles, including the introduction, methods, results, and conclusions. This knowledge will help participants produce more organized works.

Explain Research Ethics: The training teaches research ethics, including how to correctly cite sources, avoid plagiarism, and respect copyright. This is important for maintaining academic integrity.

Write a draft of a scientific article: For researchers, scientific writing training helps prepare their work for publication in scientific journals. This skill facilitates the peer review process and increases the chances of publication.

The training will be conducted over 2 days in a blended format, facilitated by the Competency Development Directorate. The first day (10 August 2024) will utilize the BRILIANT LMS, while second day (11 August 2024) will be conducted in-person. To make the scientific writing training engaging for international students, the following concepts will be implemented:
Interactive Material Presentation: The training will provide participants with inspiring and interactive materials from reliable sources in the field of international scientific article writing.
Case Study Analysis: The training combines theory with practice. Participants will apply scientific writing concepts through case studies or direct exercises. They will be assigned to write a scientific article based on a specific topic, providing experience in the research writing process, including data collection, analysis, and article preparation.
Use of Technology: The training will utilize the BRILIANT LMS, an online platform or application developed by BRIN's Competency Development Directorate.
Individual Consultation Sessions: In addition to group training, individual consultation sessions with instructors can help participants receive specific feedback on their writing.
